A drone (from Quad "four" and Copter "helicopter") is a type of aerial robot that combines a basic propeller mechanism with advanced electronics for a wide range of real-world applications. It is a microcontroller-based embedded system with sensors, flying gear, and other integrated components. This class teaches participants how to create a Drone project from the ground up while also studying the numerous technical ideas involved in creating a functional Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Creating a Drone gives the hands-on experience that an Engineering student requires!

All the above components would be provided during the program to participants in groups of 5 but would be taken back at the end. This is being done to reduce the cost of the program and make it affordable for students who do not want to buy the takeaway kit.
