Isro to launch PSLV-C53 mission tomorrow: When and where to watch....

The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) will launch three passenger satellites into space on its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicles (PSLV) on Thursday. The three satellites belonging to Singapore are being launched under a contract with NewSpace India Limited.

The PSLV C-523 mission will lift off from the Second Launch Pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota at 6:00 pm. The countdown for the mission will begin during the day as Isro enters the final phase of preparation and checkouts ahead of the passenger launch.

PSLV-C53 is the second dedicated commercial mission of NewSpace India Limited and will be the 55th mission of PSLV and the 15th mission using the PSLV-Core Alone variant. It is the 16th PSLV launch from the second launch pad. In a new development, Isro will attempt to use the spent upper stage of the launch vehicle as a platform for scientific payloads after it separates.

You can watch the PSLV-C53 mission launch live at where we will bring you all the coverage related to the mission as it lifts off from Sriharikota. Isro will also run a live stream of the mission which can be seen below.

The spacecraft will carry three satellites in its launch fairing DS-EO satellite and the NeuSAR, Singapore's first small commercial satellite carrying a SAR payload, which is capable of providing images day and night and under all weather conditions.

PSLV-C53 has a lift-off mass of 228.433 tons and stands nearly 44.4 meters tall. The launch vehicle will inject DS-EO satellite into an orbit at an altitude of 570 km measured from the equator.
